28-Year-Old Killed in Early Morning Motorcycle Crash on North San Jacinto Street in Conroe; Investigation Ongoing
CONROE, TX -- On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at approximately 5:38 a.m., officers with the Conroe Police Department responded to a report of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the 1500 block of North San Jacinto Street. Upon arrival, officers located the driver, who had been ejected from the motorcycle and showed no signs of life. MCHD EMS personnel arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.
Conroe Police Traffic Reconstruction Unit officers were summoned to the scene and began their investigation into the crash. The preliminary investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling southbound in the 1500 block of North San Jacinto Street. As the motorcycle approached the intersection of N. San Jacinto Street and W. Semands, the driver did not negotiate the curving roadway, lost control, and struck the curb on the southside of the intersection. The driver was ejected and suffered fatal injuries.
The deceased driver was identified as 28-year-old Jordan McDonald, a City of Conroe resident.
Due to the circumstances involving this incident, investigators are looking into the timeframe of the crash. This incident is still under investigation.
Notification of next of kin has been made to the family of Jordan McDonald. The Conroe Police Department and Chief Buckholtz extend sincere condolences and prayers to the family and all those affected by this tragic loss.
