Two Suspects in Custody Following Traffic Stop and Foot Pursuit, Three Remain Outstanding in The Woodlands
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- This morning at approximately 10:30 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a white Ford F-150 near the 9200 block of Cochrans Crossing Dr., in The Woodlands. During the investigation, five occupants, identified as Hispanic males, fled the vehicle on foot.
A perimeter was immediately established by responding units, and deputies successfully located and apprehended two of the suspects. Both individuals have been charged with Evading Arrest and have been transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Three other suspects remain outstanding. One was wearing a blue collared shirt with tan pants, another was wearing a red shirt with gray pants, and the third was wearing a navy blue shirt with gray pants.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to reassure the community that there were no weapons involved in this incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. Law enforcement personnel continue to monitor the area as a precaution.
