Suspect Arrested in Fatal Crash on US Alt 90
Juan Manuel Narvaez Yepez, 20
FORT BEND COUNTY, TX -- A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that killed three individuals and seriously injured two others.
Juan Manuel Narvaez Yepez, 20, was taken into custody on April 10, 2026 and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter (first-degree felony) and two counts of Intoxication Assault (third-degree felony). His bond has been set at $1,250,000.
On Sunday, March 15, 2026, at approximately 9:05 a.m., deputies with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office responded to a major crash in the 2400 block of US Alt 90.
The investigation revealed that a family of five was traveling eastbound in a Hyundai Santa Fe when a Toyota Tacoma, traveling westbound, crossed the grass center median into the eastbound lanes and struck the Santa Fe head-on.
Three occupants of the Santa Fe were pronounced deceased at the scene:
- Temiloluwa Virtue Alu, 18-year-old female (driver)
- Ebenezer Idunuoluwa Delight, 44-year-old female
- Isaac Oluwadamilola Alabi, 17-year-old male
Two additional occupants, a 14-year-old female and a 4-year-old male, sustained serious bodily injuries and were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Following the crash, Narvaez was hospitalized. During that time, deputies worked with hospital security to monitor and track his whereabouts until he was taken into custody.
“This is a heartbreaking reminder of the devastating consequences of impaired driving,” said Sheriff Eric Fagan. “Three lives were lost, and a family has been forever changed. We urge everyone to make responsible choices, never get behind the wheel if you’ve been drinking.”
This case remains under investigation.
