MCSO Attempts to Identify Vehicle Theft Suspect
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with a string of vehicle thefts and burglaries spanning across Montgomery and Harris Counties. On April 28, 2026, the suspect was observed on surveillance footage entering several properties in a subdivision near Woodlane Blvd and FM 2978 in Magnolia, Texas. During this incident, the suspect stole a Ring Doorbell camera and a vehicle. While that vehicle has since been recovered, the suspect’s image was clearly captured on the stolen camera before its removal.
The investigation has further linked this individual to a second incident on May 6, 2026, where the suspect was captured on in-car video camera burglarizing a vehicle. Investigators believe this same individual is responsible for the theft of another vehicle, a silver 2017 Mazda MZ6 with Texas license plate KBT5949, from the Huntington Woods Estates subdivision in the Tomball area of Harris County. This vehicle has not been located and is still missing.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is working diligently to identify this suspect.
