Memorial Day Holiday Observance in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township invites residents to attend the annual Memorial Day in The Woodlands event on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Town Green Park. The Town Center Trolleys will operate extended hours on Sunday, May 24, from noon to 10 p.m. for the event.

In observance of Memorial Day, all Township offices and both recreation centers will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. The Woodlands Express bus service will also not operate that day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26.

Facilities open on Memorial Day include Riva Row Boat House, Lakes Edge Boat House, Texas TreeVentures and the Town Center Trolleys.

Trash and recycling services will not be interrupted and will operate on their normal schedule on Monday, May 25.
