THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Car Club and fellow car group All American Muscle Cars recently teamed up with the Conservatory at Alden Bridge, retirement and assisted living facility for Hotrods & Heroes classic car show. The charitable recipient for this event was Veteran organization, American Legion Post 305, which local auto enthusiasts participating in the event made donations along with a check presented by The Woodlands Car Club totaling just over $1,000.

The American Legion Post 305:

For Veterans: Helping them file for VA benefits, and offering a welcoming space for camaraderie.
National Security: Help support active-duty troops when deployed by sending them care packages, and aiding their families.

Americanism: Promote patriotism, teach flag etiquette, and host community events like flag disposal ceremonies, parades and memorial services.

For Youth: Sponsoring programs like American Legion Baseball, youth leadership camps (Boys State/Girls State), Boys Scouts. They are looking into teaming up with a Youth Shooting program soon as well. And they continue to try to expand their networking, gain new memberships and help their community through volunteering.

The Woodlands Car Club is a group of dedicated auto enthusiasts who organize and participate in charity car displays, partner w/local businesses and the community, creating awareness and give back to local non-profit organizations in Montgomery County since 2001.
