MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Basic Peace Officer Academy celebrated a major milestone on June 18, 2026, with the graduation of 17 new peace officers. These dedicated individuals are officially ready to begin their service with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office, and Cypress Fairbanks ISD PD. The ceremony was highlighted by an inspiring address from guest speaker Chad Robichaux, Mighty Oaks Foundation Founder, who joined to mark this special occasion.

Over the course of an intensive 5-month academy, these cadets underwent comprehensive training across a wide range of disciplines, ensuring they are fully prepared for the vital responsibilities of law enforcement.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedicated academy staff and instructors, whose unwavering commitment to training and mentoring shaped this class. We are incredibly proud of the hard work, perseverance, and determination these cadets demonstrated as they earned their certification as Texas Peace Officers. Please join us in congratulating the newest protectors of our communities
