Suspect Arrested Following Vehicle Burglary Investigation in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On July 22, 2026, deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit and Patrol deputies conducted proactive patrols in The Woodlands to address a recent surge in motor vehicle burglaries.

During the patrol, units received information regarding a prior vehicle burglary involving a white Nissan Altima. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop near the 24600 block of Interstate 45.

The suspect who was inside the vehicle was identified as 29-year-old Trayvion Lusk from Houston, Texas. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located stolen property from the earlier burglary. Deputies successfully recovered the stolen items and returned them to the rightful owner.

Lusk was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he was charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Marijuana
