Magnolia Man Arrested on Five Child Pornography Charges After Montgomery County ICAC Investigation
MAGNOLIA, TX -- In January 2026, Constable Ryan Gable’s ICAC Unit received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children regarding Joshua Patterson, a 32-year-old male from Magnolia, Texas. Pct. 3 ICAC detectives conducted an extensive investigation that led to the execution of a residential search warrant at Patterson’s home in Magnolia on July 22, 2026.
During the interview, Patterson admitted to investigators that he was in possession of child pornography on his phone. A scene examination of Patterson’s phone revealed more than 50 images of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Patterson was subsequently taken into custody and charged with five counts of Possession of Child Pornography, classified as first-degree felonies under Texas law due to the children depicted in the content being under the age of 10 and Patterson possessing more than 50 images or videos.
This case remains active and is pending further forensic examination of electronic devices recovered from Patterson’s residence.
Constable Gable’s office is a proud affiliate of the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and remains committed to identifying and apprehending those who seek to harm children.
Anyone with information concerning Joshua Patterson is asked to contact the Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office at 281-364-4211 and request to speak with a detective.
