Labor Day At Waterway Square in The Woodlands

Join The Woodlands Township for a festive celebration of Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Waterway Square. This free community event will feature live music by Shake Down Band HTX, engaging children’s activities, strolling entertainers and a spectacular fireworks display to close out the evening (weather permitting).

A highlight of the celebration will be the always popular pie-eating contests, sponsored by Lankford's Burgers, open to both youth and adults. Contest registration will be available on site only, and space is limited. Early arrival is strongly recommended for those wishing to participate.

• 6 p.m. Youth Pie-Eating Contest
• 7 p.m. Adult Pie-Eating Contest
• 8:55 p.m. FIREWORKS*

A beverage booth will be available to purchase a variety of beverages. Attendees are encouraged to patronize local restaurants before or after the event. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Please note, glass is prohibited.
