THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Pride (TWP), a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, today announced details for its 2026 Pride Festival, set for Saturday, October 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Town Green Park in The Woodlands. Now approaching its 10th year, the free, all-ages festival blends TWP's signature celebration of LGBTQIA+ community with a Halloween twist, and costumes are encouraged.

Free, all-ages event returns to Town Green Park with live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, and family-friendly fun

Since launching in 2018, The Woodlands Pride Festival has grown into one of Texas's largest free Pride events, drawing thousands of attendees, dozens of local vendors and community organizations, and support from area businesses each year. The 2024 festival welcomed over 9,000 attendees, 125 exhibitors, and nearly 20 sponsors, and organizers expect this year's milestone anniversary to be the biggest yet.

This year's festival will once again feature live entertainment on the main stage, a market of local vendors and community organizations, food trucks, and family-friendly activities for all ages, all free to attend.

"Our festival has always been about connection: showing up as your full self and finding a community that celebrates you for it," said Alex Morrison, The Woodlands Pride. "Bringing a little Halloween spirit into this year's celebration is our way of inviting even more of Montgomery County to come be part of that joy."

Beyond the festival, The Woodlands Pride works year-round to serve the LGBTQIA+ community through initiatives including the TWP Community Library, a free and accessible collection of LGBTQ+ books and resources hosted in partnership with Village Books; TROT (There's Room at Our Table), a youth programming and community dinner series; and ongoing advocacy and education efforts across Montgomery County, including serving as lead plaintiff in the successful 2023 legal challenge against Senate Bill 12.

Local businesses, community organizations, and volunteers interested in exhibiting, sponsoring, or supporting the 2026 festival can find more information at thewoodlandspride.org/festival.
