MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On August 28, members of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit, Property Crimes Division, and Crime Reduction Unit conducted surveillance on suspects believed to be involved in residential burglaries.

During the operation, Detectives followed the suspects through portions of Houston, Harris County, and Liberty County, where they were observed casing completed homes in newly developed neighborhoods. The suspects later entered Montgomery County and were seen casing homes in a neighborhood near State Highway 242 and later in the Magnolia area. With assistance from a Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter and MCSO Drones, Detectives captured evidence of the suspects burglarizing multiple unoccupied homes and targeting electrical breaker boxes and circuit switches.

After leaving the area, patrol deputies conducted a felony traffic stop and detained two suspects: Jonathan Garcia Molina, 24 and Yession Robles Bonilla, 17. Investigators recovered numerous stolen electrical breakers from the suspects’ vehicle. Both Garcia Molina and Robles Bonilla were charged with three counts of Burglary of a Habitation and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
