16-Year-Old Arrested Following Reported Sexual Assault at Magnolia High School Football Game
MAGNOLIA, TX -- On Thursday, September 17, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to Magnolia High School in reference to a reported sexual assault that had just occurred during a football game.
MCSO deputies, along with Montgomery County Constable Precinct 5 deputies assigned as School Resource Officers for Magnolia ISD, met with the 15-year-old victim. The victim reported being sexually assaulted by a 16-year-old male acquaintance near the athletic field.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. Detectives coordinated with juvenile prosecutors in the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office to obtain a Directive to Apprehend for the juvenile suspect. MCSO Crime Reduction Unit deputies subsequently located the suspect and took him into custody. He was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is working closely with Montgomery County Constable Precinct 5 and Magnolia ISD as the investigation continues. Allegations involving the safety and well-being of our children are treated with the utmost seriousness. All agencies involved remain committed to conducting a thorough investigation, supporting the victim and family, and protecting the safety of all students in Montgomery County.
