The Woodlands Car Club Presents Vets & Vintage Veterans Day Tribute & Holiday Food Drive
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Car Club hosts a monthly charity car display, The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause, and on Sunday, November 1 from 6 to 10 a.m., the event will feature a special theme, Vets & Vintage Veterans Day Tribute & Holiday Food Drive, at Market Street. The annual food drive will benefit the Montgomery County Food Bank, and attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations. The Woodlands Car Club raises funds throughout the year for local nonprofit organizations.
As part of the morning's tribute to those who have served our country, Boy Scouts Troop 1180 and Cub Scouts Pack 1180 will present the colors at 8:30 a.m.
“We are excited to honor our veterans while showcasing the vintage vehicles that help make this event so special,” said Dana Pritchard, President of The Woodlands Car Club and one of its founding members. “The annual food drive is a wonderful way to continue our mission of using cars to give back to our community, and just in time for the holiday season. This time of year, food items are especially welcomed for families in need."
The Woodlands Car Club is proudly celebrating its 25th anniversary with special events and activities throughout the year. For a quarter century, the club has brought together car enthusiasts from across the region to share their passion for vehicles while making a meaningful difference in the community.
Established in March 2001 by a small group of local car enthusiasts, The Woodlands Car Club has grown into one of Montgomery County's most recognized automotive organizations. What began as a gathering of people who shared a love of cars evolved into a lasting commitment to community service. Driven by their mission, "Using Our Cars to Give Back to Our Community," the club has raised and donated more than $175,000 to support over 100 nonprofit organizations throughout Montgomery County. Through charitable car shows, community partnerships, food drives, and fundraising activities, the organization continues to demonstrate how a shared passion can make a lasting impact.
The Woodlands Car Club values the friendships, partnerships, and opportunities to make a positive impact right here in our community. Through awareness, collaboration, and charitable giving, they remain committed to serving Montgomery County and supporting the organizations and people who make the community stronger.
The Woodlands Car Club continues to rely on the generosity of volunteers, sponsors and supporters who help make each event possible. For more information on The Woodlands Car Club, please text Dana Pritchard at 281.217.2912.
