The Woodlands Methodist School

The Woodlands Methodist School (TWMS) was founded as a preschool outreach in 1981. For over 35 years, the preschool has welcomed families from all over the area looking to our accredited school to educate their children in a loving, Christ-centered environment. Seeing a need to continue this high-quality education, leaders decided to add to the preschool by forming The Woodlands Methodist School to serve elementary students. As demand grew for a continuation of the excellent academic standards and Christian values, TWMS continued to expand, now offering programs for children 18 months through 8th grade.

At The Woodlands Methodist School, the Christian faith and our curriculum are not just
complementary — they're completely intertwined. Our curriculum is Bible-based; students
learn about the Christian faith at the same time and in conjunction with lessons in the other subject areas. Time is spent in the Word daily, and students participate in various activities to help them grow in their awareness of the love of God. In addition, all classes attend aweekly chapel service.
