Donald R. Collins Intermediate School

Mission Statement:

Collins Intermediate blends exemplary teaching, practices,
research, and a focus on the needs of the total child to
create an enriched learning environment. This commitment
to academic excellence is complemented by the belief that
parents are an integral part of the education process. In
order to create a smooth transition from the elementary
school to the junior high years, the highly successful
“linking approach” is utilized. Child-centered, Collins
Intermediate teachers provide students with differentiated
instruction in a caring classroom.
