Meet The Tutors......
Alan Brock is an honor graduate of Trinity University with a B.S. in computer science, a math minor and extensive engineering electives. He earned a teacher's certification in 2005 and taught math at College Park High School from 2006 to 2009. Realizing the power of individual instruction, he became a full-time private tutor in 2009.

Bambi Fields earned her Bachelor's Degree in Spanish with a minor in English from Austin College graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is highly qualified through training and experience. Since 2001 Bambi has taught math and Spanish in public and private schools and has tutored students in some of the most elite and rigorous schools in Houston.

Bambi and Alan participate in ongoing professional development to help students maximize their potential. Together they have over 30 years of experience teaching elementary through university students.


Our Philosophy and Approach
We believe that with patience and the right explanation, anyone can understand anything.

By meeting students where they are, both in understanding and in the curriculum, we can immediately begin reducing anxiety, rebuilding confidence and improving grades. We also address gaps in knowledge as they surface to create a more complete foundation.

Catering to the individual needs of each student, we balance our tutoring between explaining the lesson and guiding students in thinking critically. As they are more actively engaged in the learning process, retention and understanding vastly improve.

As confidence increases and subjects become less scary and difficult, students more easily develop into lifelong learners.
