The Woodlands Girls Lacrosse Team

The Woodlands Girls Lacrosse Association (TWGLA) is a Texas Nonprofit Corporation.  The Woodlands fielded its first girl's high school lacrosse team in 1995 and today is one of the best programs in South Texas. Girls lacrosse is a recognized club sport affiliated with The Woodlands High School and is open to all students of CISD and all its schools. Our players earn varsity athletic letters from their respective schools and are eligible to recieve private PE credit. We compete in the Houston chapter of US Lacrosse's South Central Region and we have two primary seasons 1) Autumn (Sep-Dec), 2) Spring (Jan-May). Lacrosse is relatively new to Texas and every year we get new players that are true beginners; some of our best players never picked up a stick before the 9th grade. TWGLA has programs for girls of all ages Young Dolls (2nd-4th grade), Junior High (5th-8th), High School (9th-12th). Free clinics are available throughout the year for new players who are interested in learning more about the great game of lacrosse, just check out our website at www.woodlandshsglax.com for more information!!!
