Vintage (MCM) stoneware bean pot, crock or casserole dish-by West Bend
Good Condition
This is a vintage Mid-Century Modern (MCM) stoneware bean pot (also called a crock or casserole dish) made by West Bend, an American kitchenware manufacturer based in West Bend, Wisconsin. Produced roughly in the 1950s–1960s, it features the brand’s iconic “Atomic Utensil” pattern—a playful, abstract graphic of stylized kitchen tools (like a fork, spoons, and ladle) in yellow, black, and brown tones against a speckled cream-colored glaze. The piece measures approximately 8–9 inches in diameter (based on the tape measure in your photos) and holds about 2 quarts. It’s oven-safe, designed originally for baking beans or casseroles, but commonly used today for serving, storage, or decor. The “USA” stamp on the base confirms it’s an authentic American-made item from that era.
