Robin Williamson is a Texas-based, nationally recognized fine artist and founder of DaVinci Studios in Sugar Land. Known for her refined and realistic oil painting style, Robin’s work captures the elegance and individuality of the human form. Her passion lies in painting people—particularly those involved in the performing arts, such as dancers and musicians.
Her formal training includes studying at some of the country’s most respected institutions: Johnnie Liliedahl’s School of Classical Oil Painting, Studio Incamminati, Scottsdale Artist’s School, The Ryder Studio, and The Coppini Academy. She also holds degrees from Texas A&M University and Southern Methodist University.
Robin draws inspiration from master painters such as Bouguereau, Sargent, Rembrandt, Repin, and Leonardo da Vinci. Her work reflects a timeless approach that emphasizes both technical excellence and emotional depth.
Among her many accolades, Robin is a Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA), the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS), and American Women Artists (AWA). She is a Bold Brush sponsored artist, a member of the Portrait Society of America, and actively involved in the Cecilia Beaux Forum, which supports women in the figurative arts. Currently, she serves on the board of NOAPS and as Texas State Co-Ambassador for the Portrait Society of America.
Her artwork has been featured in International Artist, Southwest Art, and American Art Collector magazines. She has received awards in numerous national and international competitions, including the prestigious Art Renewal Center International Salon, the Salmagundi Club, and OPA Western Regional Exhibition, where she recently earned the Bronze Medal Award for her portrait “Satin & Fur.”
