Apply for Nursery Childcare Worker

Summary: Noah's Nook Nursery is accepting applications for childcare workers at The Woodlands and Woodforest campuses. Current openings are on Sunday mornings and other shifts as needed.

Essential Functions: Provide a safe and fun environment for children in the nursery. This includes:

Relational Leadership

• Greet and communicate with parents about child’s needs and activities
• Engage with children during playtime

Strategic/Operational Leadership:

• Prepare daily activities, reading, art and music
• Support children’s emotional and social development
• Change diapers and assist with toilet training
• Supervise safe play
• Sanitize toys and room daily

Qualifications:

• Love working with preschool-aged children
• Be a team player
• Be at least 18 years old
• Childcare experience preferred
• Be able to communicate effectively in English
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Physical Demands

• This position requires sitting, standing for long periods of time, lifting, reaching, and crawling
• Be able to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis

Other Specifications:

• Reports to: Nursery Co-Directors
• Position Type: Part -time, non – exempt, 4 to 20 hours per week
• Schedule: Shifts Monday – Thursday and Sunday from 8:00am – 2:30pm. As is typical for ministry, this position requires a flexible schedule.
• Compensation: Dependent on experience
• Benefits: Not eligible for benefits
