Apply for Part-Time Silk Floral Design Assistant

Picket Fences is looking for a part-time Silk Floral Design Assistant to work alongside our lead floral designer. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with beautiful materials and has an eye for design.

Position Details:

Hours: Part-time, flexible schedule

Duration: Seasonal position (August–December) possible transition to permanent position 

Location: In-store at Picket Fences

Responsibilities:

Assist with the creation of custom silk floral arrangements, swags, and wreaths

Help with prepping stems, containers, and materials for floral builds

Support our lead designer with day-to-day tasks

Maintain organization and cleanliness in the floral work area

Occasionally assist customers selecting floral components or placing custom orders

Qualifications:

• Experience with floral design, silk florals, or crafting is a plus but not required

• Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to follow direction

• Comfortable working in a creative and fast-paced environment

• Interest in seasonal decor and home styling is a bonus
