About Us:
At The Knight School, we believe chess is for everyone. We break away from traditional chess programs by focusing on kids of all skill levels, creating a fun and inclusive environment where students learn confidence, sportsmanship, and critical thinking. With our nationally recognized, trademarked curriculum, kids learn to see themselves as smart, capable, and successful—both on and off the chessboard.

Our approach has inspired kids across America and led to over 20 State Championships (and counting), but our true focus is on laughter, fun, and building lifelong skills.

The Role:
We’re seeking dynamic, responsible, and charismatic individuals to serve as After-School Program Coaches. You’ll be the face of The Knight School in your community, engaging with elementary-aged kids, parents, and teachers to create an unforgettable after-school experience.

Your Responsibilities:

Engage Kids: Create a fun, safe, and exciting environment where students thrive.
Teach Chess: Use our provided video lessons and curriculum to guide kids from beginner to mastery.
Promote Sportsmanship: Emphasize winning and losing graciously while encouraging kindness and teamwork.
Classroom Excellence: Maintain and leave classrooms looking great after every session.
Be the Face of The Knight School: Build trust with teachers, parents, and school staff while embodying our mission and values.
What We’re Looking For:

Highly responsible and dependable.
Willingness to bring energy, creativity, and positivity to every session.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule & Location:

2-hour afternoon shifts on weekdays (great for college students!).
Work in schools within your community.
