Alternative Health Center of The Woodlands is a busy chiropractic and functional medicine office serving The Woodlands, TX for over 20 years. Our goal is to Provide Holistic chiropractic and overall health care to the community, in a family friendly environment.
The Patient Coordinator is the first impression for all patients calling or coming into the office. Some of the basic job duties include answering multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments, collecting payment, explaining treatment plans, insurance Inquiry, cleaning and maintaining order in treatment rooms, ordering supplies and supplements, and ordering labs. The most important responsibility is making sure the patient has a wonderful experience at our office from start to finish. This is a permanent part-time position consisting of 20-25 hours a week. Availability for 8 1/2-hour shifts, Mon - Thurs 8:15am - 6:15pm is required, although this is not the daily schedule. The office is typically closed Friday-Sunday, providing employees with 3 day weekends! The schedule may vary some but is given 4-8 weeks in advance. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Positive attitude, energetic, ability to multi-task between office duties and patient care, self-starter, comfortable with computers, discreet and professional, excellent follow-through, quick learner, and most importantly, a friendly disposition with the ability to handle a wide variety of people. A desire to learn about, or a passion for natural health would be a benefit for this position.
