Job Summary
We are a small warehouse and manufacturing shop in Oak Ridge North, TX seeking a dependable Warehouse Assistant to support our daily operations. This hands-on role includes order fulfillment, inventory support, and light manufacturing tasks. You'll work closely with a small team and assist in multiple areas of the business, making this an excellent opportunity to learn how a small operation functions.
Responsibilities
• Accurately follow instructions and work independently when needed.
• Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Select appropriate box sizes and securely package products for shipping.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock tracking, and organization.
• Perform light manufacturing and shop tasks, including:
o Light assembly
o Drilling
o Wrapping
o Painting
o General shop cleanup
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand tools.
• Strong organizational skills and a dependable work ethic.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. (Most items weigh between 5–20 lbs.)
• Ability to read and understand English.
Preferred Experience
• At least 2 year of warehouse experience.
• Inventory management experience is a plus.
• Experience with woodworking, CNC equipment, or light manufacturing is a plus.
Work Environment
• Small warehouse and light manufacturing setting.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and light physical activity throughout the shift.
• Collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Schedule
• Contract Position
• Monday through Friday
• 8:30 am – Apx 3 pm [End Time]
• 6–8 hour daytime shifts
Compensation
Starting at $20.00 per hour, with pay based on experience.
