HopePoint Church Grand Opening at New Location

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- HopePointe Anglican Church and WoodsEdge Church will be moving into their new campuses in December of 2008. HopePointe, having recently purchased the campus at 3333 South Panther Creek from WoodsEdge, and WoodsEdge, preparing to move into their new campus at 25131 Gosling Road, will both be worshipping on their new ministry campuses by December 21, just in time to celebrate Christmas.

These two congregations share a special relationship. HopePointe’s pastor, Clark Lowenfield, and WoodsEdge’s pastor, Jeff Wells, have been close friends for over ten years, living out a common vision of local Christian churches partnering together in ministry. Their two congregations, one non-denominational and the other Anglican, have a long history of supporting and encouraging each other through friendship, prayer and shared events.

HopePointe Church, part of Anglican Mission in the Americas, started eight years ago, meeting for worship in the cafeteria at The Woodlands Christian Academy. The past two years they have gathered for worship at the Arrow Family Ministries building, located on FM 2920.

“We are thrilled to be moving on to our new mission and ministry center here in The Woodlands, prepared to serve the community in whatever ways the Lord leads us to,” Lowenfield stated at a recent shared prayer service with WoodsEdge Church on the South Panther Creek campus. “And I am excited to see how God works through both churches in the coming months and years through his provision of these new campuses,” added Lowenfield.
