THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Kerry Shook, senior pastor at Woodlands Church, will deliver the keynote address titled "Visual Parables--Beyond the Talking Head" at the 2009 National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11 a.m.

Known for his highly creative methods, Pastor Shook often drives home Jesus' teachings and eternal biblical truths using a combination of theatrics, special effects, and even daredevil stunts both on and off-site.

Pastor Shook graduated from Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He co-authored with his wife the New York Times bestseller, One Month to Live: Thirty Days To A No-Regrets Life (WaterBrook). Over 1,500 churches to date have signed up for the "One Month to Live" challenge, which was launched nationwide last summer.

Woodlands Church is based in Woodlands, Texas with two satellite campuses in the surrounding area. Kerry Shook Ministries, a worldwide television ministry, is broadcast on several cable networks and reaches millions of viewers in more than 200 countries.
