With dad working constantly, sometimes we tend to forget about all the wonderful things he does for the family. Without him, there would be too many bugs in the house, a messy backyard, broken toilets and no food on the table.
The 100th anniversary of Father’s day on June 20, 2010 gives it an extra reason do to something different and special!

1. Play your favorite card games. With just a deck of cards, you can find all sorts of games and tricks that will spark up the fun.
2. Play board games and start puzzles.
3. BBQ with dad.
4. Massage his back and feet….he could always use a good foot rub!
5. Look through old photo albums and reminisce on all the family memories.
6. If he is a sporty kind of guy, play ball with him in the back yard.
7. Make his favorite dessert.
8. Go on a picnic in one of the many beautiful Woodlands parks.
9. Bike ride around town.
10. Kayak on Lake Woodlands at Northshore Park.
11. Play a game of Frisbee.
12. Main Event not only offers bowling and arcade games, but laser tag too! Dad will get a kick out of it!
13. Play black light miniature golf at Shanks.
14. Enjoy the George P. Mitchell Preserve Trail by walking or biking on the beautiful paths.
15. Attend “Fatherpalooza” at the Woodlands Church- Fellowship Campus for a weekend of rock ‘n’ roll, rides and BBQ on the Plaza on June 19, 2010. Event begins at 9 a.m.

Dad, grandpas and uncles need to know how much they are appreciated for all their love and support. Make them a home-made card that they can keep forever. Relax and enjoy the day dedicated to honor your father.
