CONROE, Texas --- The open house for the Lone Star Executive airport is set for this Saturday.
The event is free and will feature classic planes, helicopters and even classic cars at the Conroe airport from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Among the aircraft present will be the War Birds, Young Eagles Flights, the Longbow Helicopter and experimental aircraft.
Smokey's BBQ will have food and there will also be fire department and law enforcement representatives on hand.
The airport is located at 10260 Carl Pickering Mem. Dr. in Conroe.
