THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- In an effort to help families and individuals who are struggling with personal finances and help them learn how to control their spending, Paul Ikard, managing partner of Ikard & Stevenson, and Stephen Foster, investment advisor representative for Petra Benefits Financial Services, LP, have co-sponsored the "Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University" financial management classes currently underway at Interfaith of The Woodlands.

The financial management course is an informative and entertaining 13-week video series designed to teach families effective, time-proven principles to better manage their finances. The course facilitates several principles including: eliminating debt, creating budgets, techniques of saving, investing for retirement, and managing real estate.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of Paul and Stephen in providing scholarships for our Financial Peace University classes,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “It will certainly make such an impact on the financial well-being of so many lives.”

Robert Reyes, family services program coordinator for Interfaith of The Woodlands, added, “We believe it is important to reach out and help our clients learn how to successfully handle their finances. This course helps guide them out of their current financial challenge and shows them how to confidently make good financial choices in the future.”
