THE WOODLANDS, Texas--Three Conroe ISD students were honored by the Texas Art Education Association at the Bob Bullock History Museum in Austin on Sunday, March 9. Texas school districts were invited to submit works of art, and the top 100 were selected to be exhibited during the annual Youth Art Month Exhibit.

Jennifer Parker (Karin Hall, teacher), senior at College Park High School, Isabella Le (Cindy Moss, teacher), an eighth grader at McCullough Junior High, and Marisol Martinez (Kathleen Bartlett, teacher), a first grader at Austin Elementary, were chosen to have their art displayed.

In addition, Marisol’s art was selected by Governor Rick Perry to be framed and hung in the governor’s office for the next calendar year and Isabella Le’s work was chosen to hang in the national TAEA exhibit in San Diego, California.
