Make magic at The Woodlands Children's Museum on June 12
THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children’s Museum is dedicating a day to magic – filling the schedule with magical learning experiences and exciting feats of illusion.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 12, at the museum located at 4775 West Panther Creek Drive.
“Childhood and magic go hand-in-hand,” Angela Colton, executive director of the museum, said. “Our goal is to present events that send children on a journey of discovery – and Magic Day is the perfect opportunity.”
Local magicians Scott Hollingsworth, Professor Hughdini and David Hinkin will provide entertainment, and children may also participate in magic-themed art projects, such as making magic hats and wands. A special disappearing ink science demonstration is also planned for the day.
The cost of the Magic Day event is included in the cost of museum admission, which is $5 for ages 2 and older. Museum members and children younger than 2 are admitted without charge.
Magic Day is being sponsored by White Glove Destinations, a local travel agency and “Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.” The company was founded by two moms – Heidi Marlowe and Jenn Whitney – who use their own experiences to help others plan the perfect vacation.
