CommunityBank of Texas breaks ground on new banking center

SHENANDOAH, Texas – Shenandoah Mayor Garry B. Watts came together with CommunityBank of Texas CEO Robert R. Franklin, Jr., President Travis Jaggers, Market CEO Dave Martin and Commercial Lender Jeannie Jennings on Friday, October 31st for a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of CommunityBank of Texas’ newest banking center. Located at 1900 Research Forest Drive just east of Grogans Mill Road, the construction of this location will mark the bank’s 37th branch and provide a stronger presence in the north Houston market.

The Woodlands new banking center will provide full-service banking to individuals and businesses and will offer a wide range of services for personal and business accounts. CommunityBank of Texas’ experienced bankers are eager to expand their presence in the community with flexible banking solutions and intimate knowledge of the market and economic conditions.

Of the new Woodlands location, CommunityBank of Texas Market CEO Dave Martin said, “We’re excited to strengthen our physical presence in The Woodlands while providing greater convenience and customer service to our current and future customers.”

Robert R. Franklin, Jr., CommunityBank of Texas CEO, is also enthusiastic of the location. “It is rewarding to watch our branch network extend and better serve our ?communities and customers,” said Franklin. “The new Woodlands location represents our continued commitment to the community and its growth.”

The new banking center is expected to open by first quarter end of 2015. This location opens in the midst of a period of expansion for CommunityBank of Texas throughout Houston and Southeast Texas.
