MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TEXAS - Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA is proud to present the 2016 SCI://TECH Exposition, Extreme Science: Inventing the Future, in partnership with the Conroe Independent School District and area private schools.

EfTA’s SCI://TECH engages the business community with local schools, offering 14 science, technology, engineering, and math competitions and events. Run by EfTA volunteers and local educators, the SCI://TECH Exposition includes one of the largest regional science fairs in the nation reaching thousands of students each year and qualifying students to compete in the Houston Science & Engineering Fair, as well as state and international competitions.

January 22, 2016

SCI://TECH is the flagship program of Education for Tomorrow Alliance created in 1990 as a means to boost science education and to provide volunteer support to the local science fair, and now offers 14 science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) competitions to nearly 5,000 K-12 students annually. Each competition offers learning beyond the classroom and teaches critical thinking skills that will enable students to thrive in any career field.

Partnerships
Education for Tomorrow Alliance programs are heavily dependent upon volunteer support. We serve as an ex-officio member of the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce which both offer support to EfTA.

In addition, teachers and school administrators from the following schools and districts are vital EfTA partners: Christ Community School, Conroe ISD, The John Cooper School, Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy, Rubicon Academy, St. Anthony’s of Padua Catholic School, The Woodlands Christian Academy, and The Woodlands Preparatory School.

Education for Tomorrow Alliance was created in 1989 as a project of the The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and local science and technology professionals who wanted to encourage the next generation of workers, especially in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. In addition to SCI://TECH. EfTA provides various education outreach opportunities for CISD?students including a Student Internship Program (SIP), Future Focus, Next Generation Leadership and Career Connections. EfTA is a 501(c)3 with the focus of connecting business and community volunteers to empower tomorrow’s adults.
