HOUSTON, Texas – Seavers Landscape in Houston is proud to support the annual “Deck the Trees” festivities at the Alley Theatre. This treasured tradition of one of Houston’s most noted theatres brings supporters together to transform the lobby into a winter wonderland of holiday-themed trees. The trees are decorated by Houston’s top designers and sponsored by generous businesses and individuals. Seavers Landscape was honored to design two of the trees which are on display now through January 1, 2016.

Ben Janes, Vice President of Operations at Seavers Landscape, said, “We were happy to design two trees for the Alley this year with different themes, both traditional and a Mardi Gras motif.” There was a great response to the Mardi Gras tree at the reception and lighting ceremony recently held just prior to the opening night performance of A Christmas Carol. The design for the Mardi Gras tree features a handmade bow topper with ribbons cascading down in the rich purple, green and gold of Mardi Gras. There are also sprigs of green and gold balls popping out of the tree in all directions. “It is a sight to behold. The idea was to make it fun by being a little eccentric with the bold colors and different textures,” Janes said. “We were thrilled to see that the Alley featured our Mardi Gras tree on Twitter and Instagram.”

“Our traditional tree has lots of red and silver with big, one foot poinsettias set in the tree for accent,” Janes said, “it’s got silver leaf garlands and a handmade tree topper of red and silver bows.”

Seavers Landscape is a proud supporter of the Alley Theatre in many different capacities. This fall, Seavers Landscape donated their services to the newly renovated Alley Theatre to upgrade their planter beds and boxes on the street level and on the terraces. Christmas tree designs, garlands and holiday lighting are just some of the many services Seavers Landscape provides. “We do commercial and residential holiday decorating, both interior and exterior,” Janes said, “if you like what you see at the Alley, you can have something similar in your own home or business.” For inspiration and ideas, visit www.seaverslandscape.com.
