Andrea Allred, CPA joins D&J

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Effective January 1st, Dossey and Jones, PLLC welcomes Andrea Allred, CPA to the D&J family full time to lead the tax practice.

Andrea has over 11 years of public accounting experience. Six of those years were at UHY Texas (now BDO) and almost two years were at Margolis Phipps and Wright (now McGladrey LLP). Her practice has primarily specialized in high net worth individuals and family offices including serving as a controller. Her specialties also include partnership and S corporation taxation, estate and gift planning and general accounting and bookkeeping. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston. Andrea is a licensed CPA in Texas.

We are looking forward to expanding and growing our tax and accounting practice with Andrea’s expertise. Concurrent with bringing Andrea onboard, we are revising our procedures, streamlining our internal processes, and moving to a more digital workflow, including email delivery of tax returns, online calendaring, and online invoicing and bill pay.

Andrea will work closely with Miriam and Keri to continue to provide excellent service to our existing tax clients, welcoming back some of you who have left and bringing on those of you would like to have all your tax, accounting and legal needs handled by one cohesive team on board.

During 2015, we also expanded our legal practice, bringing in three new attorneys: Deborah Ellsworth, Brittany A. Sloan and Phillip W. Black. Our expanded team requires extra office space, so we will be relocating to Suite 575 in our current building at the end of January. Please be sure and visit us at our new location.
