THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Nationally acclaimed Christian music artist Brandon Heath will headline Faith Fest 2016. This year’s festival – which is organized by Faith Fest, Inc. and several area churches – will take place Saturday, November 5, at Heritage Park in Conroe.

Heath is a popular artist who earned his first GMA Dove Award in 2007 before moving to The Woodlands the next year, where he continued his music career and acted as worship leader at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. A few years later he returned to Nashville, but still has fond memories of his time spent here.

He has since won several Dove awards and an Emmy, and has been nominated for several Grammys. Singing sensation Carrie Underwood even had him sing one of his songs for her first dance with her husband at her wedding.

Heath will be the headlining act of a slew of popular artists slated to appear at the event. Faith Fest is an all-day festival that was organized by a group of local community Christian leaders who decided that it was time for the churches and leaders of Montgomery County to work together to make the community better. Funds raised at the festival will benefit several area nonprofit and charitable organizations, including St. Vincent de Paul of Conroe, All the King’s Horses, Home of Hope, Compassion United and Crisis Assistance Center.<
