Warrior Swimmers State Champions

At the TAPPS Division III state swim meet, held Wednesday, February 7, at the Mansfield ISD Natatorium, The Woodlands Christian Academy Warrior swim team came away with three state champion first place finishes. State champion results are as follows:

200 Medley Relay - Stephanie Brownell, Megan Murphy, Mary McKinney, Maggie Karim
200 Freestyle - Megan Murphy
100 Backstroke - Megan Murphy

In a very close contest, the Lady Warrior swim team tied for third place overall.

The Warrior swimmers represented Woodlands Christian very well in other events as evidenced by the results as follows:

400 Freestyle Relay - 4th place - Stephanie Brownell, Merritt Ruffner, Maggie Karim
50 Freestyle - 5th place - Stephanie Brownell
200 Freestyle Relay - 11th place - Merrit Ruffner, Mikayla Canter, Rylan Brickhouse, Mary McKenny
200 Individual Medley - 15th place - Maggie Karim
100 Backstroke (boys) - 12th place - Lawson Canter
