Maria L. Flores joins J. Beard Property Management Company

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Maria L. Flores, CPM, has joined The J. Beard Property Management Company as the Director of Property Management.

Flores possesses 20 years of professional experience in the commercial real estate industry. She continues to expand her professional stewardship through her commercial affiliations and professional certifications. Her background includes supervision, leasing and building operations for commercial mid/high rise office, retail, hospitality and medical real estate assets.

In her role at The J. Beard Property Management Company, Flores oversees a dedicated staff of professionals and directs the services across all property management assignments. In her 20 years of experience, she has been recognized for the financial reduction of operating expenses for commercial assets. She has notably maintained and operated one million square feet above 85% occupancy. In conjunction with the financial maintenance for all commercial properties, she attributes her continued achievements in the commercial industry based on the tenant relations that she builds as a priority in her career.

In past endeavors, Flores has managed a staff of 75 employees and organized the startup of an established Houston regional office R.M. Crowe Company and ProEquity Asset Management. She has been selected for the Exceptional Performance in Property Management Award by the Archon Group in addition to Team Player of the Year in 2008 by CB Richard Ellis and IREM Committee Chair of the Year 2014. Flores received her Bachelor of Business Arts - Business Administration from the University of Houston. She is a licensed Texas Real Estate Agent and has earned a CPM (Certified Property Manager) certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
