Woodlands dentist receives prestigious Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship Award

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- The Texas Academy of General Dentistry (Texas AGD) is pleased to announce that Aaron Glick, DDS, of Stephens & Gatewood Dentistry, received the prestigious Fellowship Award during the Academy of General Dentistry’s convocation ceremony, a commencement celebration that recognizes AGD members’ commitment to excellence in dental education.

Held at the AGD’s scientific session on June 9, 2018 in New Orleans, La., Dr. Glick accepted this award along with more than 267 other recipients.

The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. In order to receive this award, Dr. Glick completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuing membership with the AGD. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Glick has joined an elite group of more than 16,839 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. The Fellowship Award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

“Only seven percent of Texas General Dentists have this distinction,” said Jeff Geno, DDS, MAGD and president of the Texas Academy of General Dentistry, “one that signals to patients they will be receiving dental care that exceeds standards, and leads to further success for our dentists. We are proud of Dr. Glick’s accomplishment in joining these ranks.”

Dr. Glick graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2014 and currently practices dentistry in Spring. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Glick is a member of the ADA, Nat’l Dental Practice-Based Research Network, American Dental Education Assoc., Int’l Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. His other accomplishments include Outstanding Achievement in Operative Dentistry from the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and Higher Honors and Distinction in Research from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He celebrates this award with his wife Jessica.
