April L. Walter Joins The Strong Firm as Of Counsel Attorney

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Strong Firm P.C. has recently welcomed the addition of April L. Walter as Of Counsel Attorney to The Woodlands-based business law firm.

She specializes in the legal areas of employment litigation and counseling; commercial litigation; real estate; business law and contracts; and oil, gas, and energy.

Walter joins The Strong Firm P.C. with more than 22 years of experience practicing law. Most recently, she practiced 11 years within an employment law firm in The Woodlands where she had substantial experience litigating several large class/collective actions involving wage and hour law claims. In addition, she has experience in a broad range of business and employment law proceedings in federal and state courts, arbitrations, and federal and state administrative agencies throughout the States of Texas and California, as well as in national class/collective actions filed in Colorado, Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. She is licensed with the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of California.

Walter earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, California, with the William Tell Aggeler Award (awarded to the graduate with the highest cumulative grade point average), and she is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, California, magna cum laude.
