THE WOODLANDS, TX --The car-jacking had just occurred on May 2, a short time earlier in Harris County, and the suspect, Felix Freeman, 42 out of Houston, drove to the Shenandoah area. The observant Shenandoah Police Sergeant M. Brockhoeft noticed the vehicle speeding and driving without a license plate. At approximately 12:55 p.m. the Shenandoah Police sergeant attempted to make a traffic stop on the suspect. The suspect refused to stop and led police on a high-speed pursuit involving Shenandoah Police Department, Department of Public Safety, Precinct Three Constable’s Office and Harris County Sherriff’s Department Air Support. The pursuit entered onto Texas Highway 99 and continued to Texas Highway 290 where the suspect stopped and surrendered. Shenandoah officers made the arrest and turned the suspect over to Harris County authorities on the scene not far from where the robbery occurred.
