Chad Patterson to speak at Conroe Chamber Professional Business Development Workshop

CONROE, TX - Small businesses make up a large portion of the workforce in the community and leadership can make or break the business. The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce will host the next Professional Business Development workshop on Wednesday, May 22 from 8:00am until 9:30am at The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber boardroom, located at 505 W. Davis in Conroe. This seminar with be focused on leadership, inspiration and team-building within one’s organization. As a proven leader in the community, Chad Patterson will lead the conversation with motivating information to share and implement.

"Leadership affects everything within a team and organization,” said Chad Patterson, founder of Chad L. Patterson and Associates.  “Leaders have the privilege and responsibility to do three core fundamental things: champion their cultural values, develop their people, and ultimate drive greater impact and results. We will cover all of these core points in the workshop.”

The focus will be on four fundamental leadership behaviors, responsibilities and priorities to empower a team to accomplish great things while carrying out the mission of the organization.

Chad's education and professional credentials include earning a master’s degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University, a BBA in Marketing/Management from Baylor University, and he is certified as a John Maxwell Team Coach. Through exploring expectations, assessing one's workplace dynamics, implementation of proven strategies and continual analysis of measurable goals, Chad will give attendees tips and tricks to better lead their team to success.

Every other month, the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber offers educational seminars to members and not-yet members through their Professional Business Development program. These workshops vary on date and time throughout the year and focus on the creation, development, marketing and management of local and small business in the area. From preliminary planning stages, building a book of business, to filing taxes, using social media and finding the right employees to take your company to the next level, these seminars are a part of the Chamber’s continuing commitment to provide affordable education covering a multitude of topics that foster business growth and cultivate sustainability for the community.
