Spend the day with dad, Father’s Day activities happening near you

Fathers shower their loved ones with gifts of love and care. A father is there for you when you need him, ready to lend a helping hand. Give your father the gift of time spent together this weekend. Father’s Day is Sunday, June 16, and The Woodlands has many events to put a smile on dad's face.

Fathers with little ones will love the Dads, Dinos and Donuts event at The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Saturday, June 15, from 8-9:30 a.m. Enjoy breakfast donuts, meet a life-size dinosaur, create a dinosaur hat and a Father's Day art project. Limited spots are available, so call 281-465-0955 today. Member families will pay admission of $5 each, but member dads are free. Non-members will pay $5 with admission.

Over the Top Cake Supplies invites you to join them for a fun afternoon of making Father’s Day cake pops. The class is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, from 1-3 p.m. The cost is $50. Register here. If dad loves live music, why not take him to the Father’s Day Brunch at Dosey Doe The Big Barn. The buffet will be loaded with dad’s favorites for $24.95 a plate for adults and $9.95 for children 12 and under. The food will have your special father licking his lips, but the live jazz music from the Joe Burlison Trio will top off his Father’s Day experience. Does dad love dogs? Try a fun painting session together at Painting with a Twist on Saturday, June 15, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. This class is open to all ages and painters will create a 16 x 20-inch Dalmations with Dad canvas set. The fee is $35 per seat, and you can register for the class here.
