Texas Marine Medal of Honor Fund Hosts Golf Tournament

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Texas Marine Medal of Honor Fund will host its 3rd Annual Texas Marine Medal of Honor Memorial golf tournament on Monday, September 23, 2019. With Wells Fargo as the title sponsor, the Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club is the site for the tournament that will begin at 08:30am with a shotgun start utilizing the 4-Person Shamble format.

Individual and corporate sponsorships are available and include opportunities for company branding and visibility. Tournament highlights include: Hole-in-one prize; 5-time, World Long Drive Finalist Glenn Wilson, Jr.; “closest-to-the- pin” prize weekend at a Benchmark Resort; and Esprit de Corps with Marines and other Patriots. Proceeds will benefit the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation and Combined Arms- Montgomery County.

Founded in 1962, The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children, through scholarships to children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen attending post-high school, under-graduate and career technical programs. MCSF supports students in all 50 states with $560,000 supporting students in Texas last year with more expected to be awarded this year.
Founded in 2017 to support the Greater Houston Area and the second largest Veteran population in the Nation, Combined Arms is a non-profit collaborative network of 50+ groups designed to connect veterans to resources based on individual needs. Combined Arms – Montgomery County expands the outreach of Combined Arms to accelerate the impact of the 40,000+ Veterans living in Montgomery County.

The Texas Marines Medal of Honor Fund is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to honoring the heroism and sacrifice of the 17 Texas Marines and Navy Corpsman Medal of Honor recipients, memorialized in the TMMOH Monument in Town Green Park in The Woodlands, TX. ******
