THE WOODLANDS, TX - Even though it's September, it doesn't mean we loose the heat.

Highs this week will be in the mid-90's on average, with the hottest day on Friday, September 13 at 97° and the 'coolest' days being on Tuesday, September 10 and Wednesday, September 11 at 93°. Lows will go from the mid-70's early in the week to a brisk 70° on Friday, September 13 and Sunday, September 15.

Our best chance at rain will be today, September 9, with a rain chance of over 50%. For the rest of the week, our ran chances decrease to just over 10%. Make sure to irrigate this week.

For allergy sufferers, ragweed pollen will be in the moderate range, while grass pollen, tree pollen and mold spores will be in the low range. Make sure that your air filters and vents are clean, as dust & dander levels are forecast to be in the extreme range throughout the week. Air quality will be good for the week.

As always, if you're out and about in the heat, make sure to drink plenty of water, find some shade and take it easy.
