THE WOODLANDS, TX - There are a number of road repairs and updates taking place in and around The Woodlands.

Restriping of major thoroughfares

In an effort to increase safety for motorists and pedestrians traveling on Woodlands Parkway and its intersecting arteries, the Precinct 3 Commissioner's Office is restriping and painting Woodlands Parkway, including skips, medians, crosswalks and stop bars, from Grogan's Mill Road to FM 2978. This effort includes reflectors on the pavement. The Commissioner's Office recently completed the re-striping of Grogan's Mill Road/Sawdust Road from I-45 to Research Forest Drive.

Shoulder repair work

A contractor for Precinct 3 is performing maintenance on road shoulders in a handful of areas, covering roughly 7,343 square yards in new shoulder work. The shoulder work includes but is not limited to:

- West Panther Creek between Woodlands Parkway and Lake Woodlands Interfaith Way
- Fairmeade Bend Drive
- Split Rock Road
- Greenridge Forest
- Wedgewood Forest
- Falling Star Road
- Pinyon Pine Drive
- Sunlit Forest Drive

Curb repairs

A main focus of the Precinct 3 office during the last quarter of 2019 was to repair the numerous broken curbs throughout the Precinct. A broken curb can present a number of potential safety hazards so we work to repair them as quickly as possible. See a broken curb? Click submit a work order just below to report it!
