THE WOODLANDS, TX -- For an eighth consecutive year, Woodforest has been named one of the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities, according to a recent report compiled by Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO).

The Johnson Development community remains Montgomery County’s top-selling community. Woodforest was one of five Johnson communities earning a spot on the 2019 rankings. It had more communities included on the list than any other developer.

Woodforest builders sold 356 new homes last year, offering designs priced from the $190,000s to more than $1 million. The community also saw an influx of new businesses, welcoming tenants such as F45 Fitness, Sandstone Family Health, HOTWORX and Plush Nail Bar to The Shops at Woodforest and Pine Market Plaza.

“It was a busy year as we introduced new neighborhoods, new retail and services, and new amenities,” said Virgil Yoakum, Woodforest General Manager. “Even with our growth, residents still enjoy a hometown ambiance and a serene, natural landscape.”

Also in 2019, The Church at Woodforest opened the doors to a worship center after holding services for more than three years at the on-site Stewart Elementary School.

Residents enjoy a resort-style pool, a fitness pool, splash pad, the Stampede Sportsplex, 11 parks and more than 13 miles of trails. Under construction now is a 4,500-square-foot clubhouse with a courtyard and event lawn.

Woodforest is located seven miles west of Interstate 45 between Conroe and The Woodlands. For more information, visit www.WoodforestTX.com.
