Houston Area Animal Shelters Unite With A Weekend Adoption Special!

HOUSTON, TX -- Progressive Animal Collaboration Team “PACT” is excited to bring together the Greater Houston Area government animal shelters in a game day weekend adoption special. We believe in supporting our local municipal shelters by collaborating and working as a team. By working together we can find homes for more homeless pets.

The adoption special will be Saturday February 1st – Sunday February 2nd. Adopted pets will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to go. We encourage people to visit each shelters social media for detailed shelter specific information.

“The Greater Houston Area is filled with pet lovers,” said Aaron Johnson, President of PACT. “We are working hard to bring awareness to these adoption specials that prove to substantially increase lives saved by reaching adopters who might not be aware of the sheer number of wonderful pets in the their community looking for homes.”

Area organizations are holding a weekend adoption special. The organizations include Harris County Animal Shelter, BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions, Fort Bend County Animal Services and Montgomery County Animal Services. These organizations are open admission shelters and continue to receive dogs and cats daily.

Montgomery County Animal Services: Open for Adoptions this Weekend from 11:30 am – 5:00pm. Adoption Fees will be: Dogs - $15.00 and Cats - $10.00

Harris County Animal Shelter: Open for Adoptions this Weekend from 11 am – 3:30 pm. Adoption Fees will be: Dogs - $15.00 and Cats - $10.00

BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions: Open for Adoptions this Weekend from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Adoption Fees will be: 50% off. Dogs - $25.00, Puppies - $37.50, Cats/Kittens - $10.00

Fort Bend County Animal Services: Open for Adoptions this Weekend from 11 am – 3:00 pm. Adoption Fees will be: Dogs - $15.00 and Cats - $10.00
