The Woodlands Express filling up quickly for convenient rides to the Rodeo

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Township is offering a convenient and affordable way for residents to get to and from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and urges those interested to make reservations now, while seats are still available.

The Woodlands Express bus service is just $13 round-trip per person and is available on weekend dates of March 7 - 8, 14 - 15, and 21 - 22, 2020. The Woodlands Express Rodeo Service buses will leave the Sawdust Park and Ride location at 701 Westridge Drive, with return trips leaving NRG Stadium from the METRO/Rodeo Express pickup location. Last year, rodeo fans from The Woodlands and surrounding communities spent more time enjoying the rodeo activities and less time walking from distant parking lots by riding The Woodlands Express – a dedicated bus that took them right to the heart of the rodeo fun. This year the service will again be available due to the positive feedback of the convenience and value.

“We’re pleased to again offer The Woodlands Express Rodeo Service on key weekends for our residents and visitors,” said Gordy Bunch, Township Chairman of the Board. “We launched this service last year. We hope that residents will find that it takes the hassle out of driving and finding a parking spot. And at just $13 for a round-trip ticket, it’s a hard deal to pass up.”

This is a special service, and therefore The Woodlands Express regular tickets are not valid. Reservations must be made, and the complete schedule can be viewed online, at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/rodeo.
